With the 435 Cutaway, the Spanish manufacturer Almansa completes its high-quality Conservatory series, which, with its excellent materials and sound properties, is versatile for various areas of application. The 4/4 concert guitar is equipped with a solid red cedar top, which creates a very warm note in the middle frequencies and is gently enriched with the rich bass of a laminated rosewood body. A mahogany neck reinforced with ebony and an elegant ebony fingerboard offers the player incomparable playing comfort and, thanks to a generous cutaway, optimal access to all 18 frets. A bridge inlay adapted to the millimeter, a finely notched nut with a width of 50 mm and gold-plated mechanisms that adorn the elaborately crafted headstock ensure perfect intonation over the entire length of 650 mm and a precise tuning. In order to amplify the natural sound of the Conservatory 435, the manufacturer has installed a high-quality Fishman Flex M Blend pickup system, which is equipped with a microphone and a piezo element, whose signal can be mixed by a blend potentiometer. The overall picture is completed with a wafer-thin high-gloss finish, which allows the even grain of the wood to come into its own.
