Fully solid round shoulder dreadnought with Adirondack spruce top, mahogany body and case
The Gibson J-45 was presented for the first time in 1942 and quickly achieved worldwide fame. Well-known guitarists became aware of the good piece and made the J-45 a legend. To name a few at this point: Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and even John Lennon composed and performed with the J-45. With a special aging process on a cellular basis, the J-45 Vintage produces the legendary acoustic sound coveted and loved by everyone.
The aged, solid Adirondack spruce top in connection with sides and back made of solid mahogany provides a particularly warm and powerful bass and assertive mids. The Adirondack spruce only grows in northwest New York and is known and loved for its warm sound. The original White Button Relic Style Gotoh machine heads are experiencing a renaissance in this instrument and ensure precise tuning and tuning stability. Soft playability is included with the J-45 Vintage and, last but not least, a U.S.A Gibson case is included in the scope of delivery.
