Modeled after Jimi's original Maple Cap Strat from the mid-sixties down to the smallest detail, the Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Strat presents the innovative left-hander's idiosyncratic "upside-down" setup with an inverted headstock and bridge pickup for the unmistakable sound character of the original Hendrix Strat, while three are hand-wound '69 Custom Shop single coils create authentic sounds of the era. As a true instrument of the Fender Custom Shop, the Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Strat is of course delivered in a deluxe hardshell case and including a certificate of authenticity.
