With the Fender Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Strat, the Fender Custom Shop pays tribute to what is probably the most groundbreaking pioneer of modern guitar music of the 20th century. Modeled after Jimi's original Maple Cap Strat from the mid-sixties down to the smallest detail, the Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Strat presents the innovative left-hander's idiosyncratic "upside-down" setup with an inverted headstock and bridge pickup for the unmistakable sound character of the original Hendrix Strat, while three are hand-wound '69 Custom Shop single coils create authentic sounds of the era. As a true instrument of the Fender Custom Shop, the Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Strat is of course delivered in a deluxe hardshell case and including a certificate of authenticity.
